Looking north at Cape Meares, you can see the thin peninsula of Bayocean. On one side the cold water of the Pacific crashes endlessly onto Cape Meares Beach. The calm water of Tillamook Bay reaches to the east to greet Tillamook, Bay City, and Garibaldi.
