Paint Like Monet

1 – 4 pm, $50-55, All Materials Included!

At the Rogue Gallery & Art Center, Downtown Medford. 

Join us in painting a copy of a Monet! Copying is a time-honored way to learn a master’s secrets, and this class is a great way to learn a bit about Impressionism and why we love Monet’s work. All skill levels are welcome – however, this is not a follow-the-leader style class. You will be helped along the way but may not make an exact replica of a masterwork in three hours with no experience. (And that’s okay!) Canvases will be approximately 9”x12” and we will use acrylic to help speed the process. Taught by Kristen O’Neill, who has years of experience teaching painting. Bring in an image of your favorite Claude Monet painting, or we can provide a few options. For best results, copy from a Monet picture, not just paint in his style.
