This was such a magical evening. The August air was warm, and it was one of the clearest nights I have ever seen. As the sun sets, the last rays of the day cast pink light on the hills. The little oceanside town of Cushendall is visible in the distance.

My fiancé and I decided to explore the Layd Old Church, and old graveyard with the those beautiful Celtic crosses and stonework. On the way there we saw a photographer just in front of us. When we got to the old church, he was no where to be seen. After a while, we were curious. Where did he go? We set out in the direction we last saw him, and discovered the Cushendall Coast Path. What a treat!

The path winds along the cliff above the ocean, giving the most wonderful view of the ocean. We felt so fortunate to be there on such a beautiful evening.
