The Chetco Bar Fire burned in the Kalmiopsis Wilderness in 2017. The moisture of the fog struggles to birth life back onto the hills of the Kalimiopsis Wilderness, one of the world’s biological hotspots.

Places like this are reminders that we need to be aware of the natural cycles of the wilderness, and live in a way with them that supports their needs, while still protecting our communities.
