This week I worked on commissions, sprinkled in with other works on paper. Using my recent trip to Jedediah Smith State Park as inspiration I created this one:

I have to laugh at myself a bit. I always feel like trees, rocks, and water are some of the hardest things to paint – and yet, that is what I seem to be attracted to paint! Guess I like a challenge! When I started this one I had no idea how all these rocks would turn out.
