11″ x 14″
acrylic on paper
The first day of the hike was in July. It was also the day that a snow storm struck the state. At the northern end of the trail, the wind whips the grasses, and the salt air assaults the faces of those who choose to start.
The trail stretches 382 miles to the South, stretching the entire length of the state.
Painting from the hike and photos by Pete Miller in 2016.
Framing details: outside dimensions are 16″ x 20″, black contemporary frame with an off-white mat.
